Introduction to the Hip / Groin / Pelvis. Surface anatomy of the pelvis / hip. Bony landmarks - palpation Surface anatomy - muscles / ligaments Break Differential diagnosis / specific conditions that affect the hip / groin using the Article. Lunch Practical – Examination of the hip / groin. Also Lumbar spine, Sacro-iliac joint will be briefly covered Break Practical - Rehabilitation / treatment of the hip Summary of the 2 days. | This is a very intense course using a high standard of practical skills; therefore a minimal level of Student ability is Sport Massage Therapist with ITEC, VTCT, Premier or similar diploma qualification. | |
