John is a qualified and registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council. He is also a Sports & Remedial therapist, Acupuncturist and a lecturer in Sports Medicine/Athletic Performance for the University of Oxford. To enhance his lecturing, John travels the country and delivers specific courses in manipulative/mobilisation techniques, advanced joint assessment and soft tissue techniques. John specialises in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of sports related injuries for the University of Oxford prestigious sports teams (and enjoys being accredited as the Osteopath to the Oxford University Boat Club Mens heavyweight rowing team). This allows John to also utilise his Osteopathic training with Sports therapy knowledge to enhance all patients wellbeing. John has publicly presented for many sports related organisations on manual therapy related topics and has also written several articles on Musculo-skeletal dysfunction for publications such as The Federation of Holistic Therapy. As well as lecturing for many Universities, John has implemented specific therapy related training courses which offer participants continuous professional development (CPD), therefore maintaining accreditation as well as updating participants on the latest techniques/standards for both qualified and experienced manual therapists. Johns background prior to becoming an Osteopath was driven by his success as a Physical training instructor in the British Army for many years. On route to qualifying as an Osteopath, John has added to his knowledge and medical understanding by also qualifying in areas such as Personal Fitness training, Reflexology and Nutrition to name but a few. In his spare time John enjoys rock-climbing, caving and mountaineering in which he participates on a regular basis. |

Andrew has a lot of experience of working with all types of clients from the very old to very young, treating lots of problems, from chronic pain to low back pain. He is also a remedial sports therapist, and has been involved in exercise rehabilitation and sports coaching for the last 10 years. He is a qualified, registered Osteopath with the general osteopathic council With a history of personal training, exercise rehabilitation features strongly in Andrew’s approach to treatment. He is a keen triathlete, and enjoys keeping fit. He is also a volunteer Firefighter in his local village, where he lives with his girlfriend and two Springer Spaniels ”Muddy” and “Nelson”. |

In 2004, Jon graduated form Exeter University where he gained a BSc (hons) degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Showing a keen interest in exercise rehabilitation and biomechanics, Jon decided to focus his studies into Physiotherapy where he gained a further degree form Oxford Brookes University and is now a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. Following a year of rotational work within the acute NHS trust, Jon has now chosen to work for Peak Sporting Performance and focus his attention working with orthopaedic and sport related injuries. Jon's experience of treating patient’s covers a broad spectrum, ranging from work on musculoskeletal outpatients, stroke rehabilitation, intensive care unit, orthopaedics, acute medical and paediatric hospital wards. In his spare time Jon enjoys playing football and golf, whilst regularly attending the Oxford University gym and circuit training sessions. Jon's active background in sport and coaching is optimised in his treatment approach, utilising sports rehabilitation techniques. |

Elizabeth is originally from Italy and lived in London for nearly 20 years before recently moving to Oxford. Her background is in the fitness industry and she has worked in different health clubs as a fitness instructor, fitness manager and personal trainer. From her early days in the gym she wanted to help people with injuries, aches and pains and, as a natural progression, she started taking courses in massage, sports and remedial massage, sports injuries, craniosacral therapy and lymphatic drainage, most of them at St Marys’ University in Twickenham. Elizabeth has been working at different clinics and health clubs in London for the last 5 years and is currently a student on the Osteopathy programme at Oxford Brookes University. She is a great advocate of Pilates and offers matwork Pilates and core stability classes. She is passionate about health and fitness and natural remedies. Elizabeth has boundless energy and motivation and her treatments use combinations of different techniques with corrective exercises and/or stretches. A great nature and animal lover, she likes to spend her spare time meditating, reading, working out, socialising, and visiting art galleries and jazz clubs. She has a keen interest in metaphysics, the power of the mind and human behaviour. |
